Warhammer Online: Age of ReckoningWar is everywhere in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (WAR), the new MMORPG from the creators of Dark Age of Camelot. Based on Games Workshop's popular Warhammer fantasy war game, WAR features next generation Realm vs. Realm game play that will immerse players in a world of perpetual conflict. Upon entering WAR, players must determine their allegiance and join an Army. Those inclined towards the side of good may fight for the Armies of Order as an obstinate Dwarf, noble High Elf, or loyal human soldier of the Empire. Those inclined towards darker deeds may side with the sinister Armies of Destruction as a savage Greenskin (Orc or Goblin), corrupt Dark Elf, or marauding human worshipper of Chaos.

Grab your beach balls and your battle axes, for the next two nights it will be nothing but hot sand and summer fun as you and your allies descend upon the Land of the Dead!
We're excited to announce the start of Phase III of the Patch 1.3 PTS, and with it the opening of the Tomb of the Vulture Lord. You and five of your friends can face the challenges within as you dodge traps and combat ancient opponents. If fresh meat is more your forte, though, when your side lays claim to the Land of the Dead you can purge your enemy within! No place is safe as you overrun their Public Quests, invade their Lairs and dungeon instances, or even assault their warcamp and exude your dominance over the Necropolis! Great rewards await you for your efforts.
So, join us tonight (6/9) and tomorrow (Wednesday, 6/10) starting at 7:00 PM EDT for a battle royale as we put the Land of the Dead to the test! Push Tier 4, gain resources, and defend your claim on the sands and the treasure that lies beneath!
While testing will be open all week, anyone who logs in the next two nights between 7:00 PM EDT and 12:00 AM EDT and participates will be awarded the following:
Shroud of Imrathepis - Linens taken from the burial shroud of Prince Imrathepis. Those who wrap the burial shroud about their body are protected from harm regenerating minor wounds and injuries.
And before you ask, yes players who stand above the crowd and give excellent feedback and great insight will have a chance to win their character an Imperial Griffon or Enslaved Manticore from their king!
Please note that this is a hands-off event. Mythic staff will be observing the natural progression of the mechanics as both sides battle it out for supremacy. So remember to build up resources by capturing Tier 4 zones, looting your enemies, and returning the resources to your Expedition Quartermaster near your Flight Master in the capital city.
