Ipod Touch: Battery Life is Gone

Ipod touch, had it about 18 months, in the last month the battery performance has suddenly died. It lasts about an hour on standby, or with general browsing via WiFi. Sent it away for repair and they 'repaired' it, but the exact same problem is happening.

make sure you turn off WIFI and SSH when its not in use this will extend your battery life a fair bit. Also be aware that if you hook it up to your PC to charge and your pc hibernates or standby's your ipod will be drained rather than charged.
