I've somehow managed to hide my taskbar icons!
As far as I know, I login as the admin, under a different username (I renamed the admin username. Or did I just create a user with admin abilities?).
Anywho, a friend thinks I changed the taskbar settings as the admin and applied it to all users. As far as I know, I've not done that. But just in case I have, how do I go about undo-ing it? This problem has been irking me for the past few months (since October-ish?).
I've not just turned off something in the taskbar and startmenu control panel. I've been over that God knows how many times >.<
There ARE icons working there. Windows Update, for example. I'll see the warning box then it blips out of existence. I have Norton internet security and it's icon is the LAST thing to load. If I run anything else that generates a taskbar icon then that shows. So what I'm thinking is that between the tasks loading and Norton is something that's hiding all my icons

Like my sound, LogMeIn (for remote desktop), monitor settings, etc.
Very rarely, and I don't know why or under what circumstances, but my icons will blink into existence for a bit then blink back into oblivion
Any ideas on how to find out what might be blocking my icons and how to get them back?
