Game of the week (07-12-2006): Fishy

The 7th edition of the game of the week:

Which game?
This time i choose the newest game in the arcade, which was one of my favourites in the older arcade:

Fishy.

What do you need to do?
Play the game and get an as high possible score (no tournament game)

Why should i do it?
The person who is the champion of that game (could be an old still standing champion) receives 500 bonus Pu.
This means the person who is currently holding the throphy* and not holding the all time high score.

Rules?

• Don't cheat
• You can play the game as many times as you want until the time is over.
• Only scores registered by the arcade count (so if your score isn't submitted for some reason it's just bad luck)
• When 2 or more players have the same score for a game. The one that needed the least time (registered by the arcade) will be the winner of this competition. This is not necessary the throphy holder shown by the arcade.
• Addittion to the previous rule, when 2 players have the same score AND time, only then the price will be divided between those players.

I seem to have become a bit of a wiz at this version and can pretty much complete it every single time, without cheating though I have to say.

I think more players will be able to finish the game, it will just be a matter of how big fish you eat to become that far (bigger fish give more points)

I've completed Fishy about 10 times today, I just can't seem to break into the 600's though, I just need a couple of really big fish right at the end and i'd get it back off ya...

You really don't want to know how many attempts it took to beat Wish's score. I think between us we must be close to the actual highest score you can get on that game.

Basically it's down to luck as to which fish you get at the very end. If you get a small one, you get 50 or so points less, if you get the very biggest, you get a score around what we have.

I did until you took the title off me in your first session forcing me to play every single day for a week in an effort to get it back.

Now all I need to do is get back the other 50 or so titles I had at one point or another...
