Starting Inferno Mini Guide

Inferno is a Role Play Game (RPG), as such you can play it any which way you want. You can invest in strength so you can kill your opponents faster, or you can invest in Health Points so you can stay in the fight longer, or you can invest in Defence so your opponent doesn't hurt you as much. There is a variety of methods you can choose to play this game, but this guide is just an introduction. A quick guide to starting out in the world of Inferno!

Creating a character!
If you've not done this yet, it'll be the only page you can see.
You can change any of these later on by going to your RPG Control Panel.

** Different element types give you different stat boosts, and gives you an advantage and disadvantage against other element types. To start with, you may want to pick either Fire or Apocalypse. Fire boosts your hp, str, and def; whilst Apocalypse only boosts your Str. You don't have to use these, and can change them at a later time.


When you start Inferno, you will have 20,000Gil (Gil being the currency within Inferno).
There is a game within Inferno called TripleTriad (check forum for details on how to play). I recommend that you spend 10,000Gil on an Advanced Booster Deck for TripleTriad. Using this deck you should be able to win every match you play. You get 200Gil for every game you win.
The 2nd 10,000Gil I recommend you buy some kit from the item shop. This will help you stay alive and kill the bots to lvl up. After a few levels, I suggest you put whatever you have left into the bank. You get 1% interest per 24 hours, but you have to visit each day to get the interest.


So, let's review. You've created a character, and got a method of making money. Now, we shall get you a job. You shall need this for buying items from the shop. There are perks and pitfalls to each of these jobs, for example, better stats in one area, and little or no stats in another; a lot of gil and poor stats, or good stats in general and poor gil... For the first few levels, it doesn't matter what job you have, and you can always pick another job later at the store, although this costs 50,000Gil.

Now, go win a couple games of TripleTriad (you'll need the cash).


Once you've won two or three games, head to the Healing Centre and purchase some health potions. Now you're ready >=D TO THE BATTLE GROUND! You're allowed to fight 30 AI Bots per 24 hours, and I suggest you use these to level up on before you start challenging other players
Go fight smeagol a few times and you'll level up
