Starting A Character

Creating an RPG character is very simple. Start by opening up your RPG Control Panel, by clicking RPG Menu 1, and clicking RPG Control.
Then Fill in the form, heres a sample;

Character Name: MarkyMan
Character Gender: Male
Limit Break: Run in circles
Character Alignment: Good
Character Avatar URL*: www.yourdomain.com/youravy.jpg
Character Avatar Sizes: 100x100 (Max: 100x100)

Element type**: Wind

* - This is not needed, but you can add an avy if you want
** - Once you enter your element type, the below forms, will fill thereselfs

Once you've filled all of that in, click Update RPG Profile and away you go, into the big world of Inferno!

Character Jobs

You can easily pick a job by clicking on RPG Menu 2, and Character Jobs. This page shows all available jobs, along with their salary and requirements. You won't be able to choose a job if you don't meet the required requirements. Note that only some jobs can be selected as they are the first step in evolution, and once you have chosen a job, you are locked in this evolution chain unless you pay to reset your job in the store. This will not reset your character level. Only thing that is removed is any additional stats that come with your chosen profession.
Each job pays a salary every 24 hours. If the time to wait for your salary has finally come to an end, then you may press the link entitled "Collect Salary", and the money will be successfully transfered to you. Remember to do this regularly, this is not automatic for a purpose, it's your job to remember!
Some jobs may have evolution steps, if you have the required stats needed to evolve you may evovle to the next job/class.

Your job/class determines what items and spells you can wear/use from the ItemShop and SpellShop. If you do not have a job, then you cannot use these shops.

The Itemshop

To go into the itemshop, simply click RPG Menu 2, and click Itemshop.
The itemshop is big. First theres your inventory. Anything in your inventory, from weapons to armour will be displayed there. You will get the name of that item, the description, any upgrades, the amount you will recieve if you sold your item and scanning your item.
Underneath your inventory, is the itemshop categories:
-Weapons
-Armour and Cloaks
-Power Accessories
-Shields
-Footwear
-Rings (left and right hand)
-Necklaces
-Hats and Helmets
-Belts
-Unique Items
-Facegear
-Gloves and Bracelets (left and right hand)
All of these categories open up, when you click on them.
Each category has its own set of information;
Name, Description, Total Items, Total Sold and Total Profit.
Inside the Itemshop you have your inventory again. Its in the same order as before.
Then, below your inventory, is the shop!!!
There is a list of items from which category you picked.
Here is what information it gives;
Icon - The icon for the item
Name - The name for the item
Description - The description for the item
Buy - The price and the buy button
Sold - How many of that item has been sold
Stock - How many of that item is in stock
Scan - Scan the item

When you scan an item, you will be given the choice of buying it.

So, with all that information, you can get ready to buy what you want, of course you need the correct amount of gil

Healing Centre

To go into the Healing Centre, simply click RPG Menu 2, and click Healing Center.
This is similar to the item shop; it will have a list of potions you already have in your inventory. Here you can use any of your pots, or sell the ones you do not want. Below this is a status bar that shows you your current HP/MP and the amount of Gil you have in your hand. Then there's the shop. This shows the Icon, Name, Description, HP, MP, and Buy for each potion. There is also an option that lets you buy 2 healing potions in 1. This is called "Fused Healing Potions", where the combinations of a secondary potions HP and MP healing abilities are added to the primary healing potion. The ability stays the same as the primary potion. Note that the price of the fused potion will be the combined price of the potions you choose to fuse together.

Hospital
Found by clicking on RPG Menu 2, and Hospital. The hospital allows you to cure your character's and summon's 3 stats, your HP, MP and any status effects you may currently have. Unlike the healing center, the hospital puts a price for healing 1 HP/MP, and is multiplied by how much you decide to heal for each stat. Also there is a set price for curing any status effect you may have.
This is currently set 2 Gil To Heal 1 HP/MP and 5000 Gil to cure any status effect.
The hospital cannot be accessed while you are in battle.

Bank

To get to the bank, click on the Virtual Store link, then RPG Bank.
Here you can deposit and withdraw any Gil you have in the bank. You get 10% interest a day, but you need to visit the bank once every 24 hours to get it. There is a timer that shows you how long you have to wait till your next interest installment.

Donate

To donate an item or Gil to another player, click on RPG Menu 1, then RPG Donate.
Using the form, enter the amount of Gil you want to donate, make sure the amount you input is less than or the same as you currently have on hand. Also the username input for the character must be their "forum" username, not their character username.
Donating item's is similar to donating money, but you must make sure certain factors about the item your donating are true, these factors are:

* The item is currently NOT equipped
* The person your sending the item to is able to handle the item requirements
* The item is NOT in any auction

Again, you need to use their "forum" username, not their character username.

Equip

Found by clicking on RPG Menu 2, and Equip Items. This will let you equip items from your inventory to your character. Here is a list of categories that allow you to equip items from your inventory. Below this is a list of equipped items, with the option for you to un-equip them. Click on the relavent category, to show a list of items you have in your inventory. Click on the Equip button to equip that item. You can only have one item from each category equipped at any time, so if you want to equip a new weapon, you must un-equip the old one first.

Synthesis Shop

To get to the Synthesis Shop, click on RPG Menu 2, then Synthesis Shop.
The Synthesis Shop is designed to provide "upgrade's" to be added to any of your items, to increase stats added.
f you want to add an upgrade to any of your item's, first check these factors:

* The item is NOT equipped
* The item is NOT in any auction

After checking these factors you may then proceed to buy an upgrade for your item. Note that only 1 upgrade can be added to any item.
As with the item shop, you'll have a screen with Icon, Name, Description, Sold and an option to Buy. The description shows a list of the stats that are added to the item.

Clans

Found by clicking on RPG Menu 2, and Clan Info.
Here is a list of current Clans. The table shows the Clan name, the owner, the total number of members, a link for you to see the members, and a join button.
Below that is a navigation bar that shows specific sections for the Clan section itself, here you will find a link entitled "Buy A Clan". Pressing this will take you to the page where you can create your own clan, for a price.
Also in the navigation bar, you are able to Join A Clan, Leave Current Clan, Manage Your Clan (Clan leader only), Manage Your Clan Members (Clan leader only), Donate To Your Clan Members (Clan leader only), and Invite A Member To Your Clan (Clan leader only).
In order to join a clan, you must be invited by the clan leader. The best way to do this, is to PM the clan leader and ask to join. The Clan Leader must then goto the Clan screen, click on 'Invite a Member to Your Clan' and type in the forum username of the person who wants to join.
Upon receiving an invitation, a player may goto the Clan screen and click on Join next to the relevant clan.

Store

To get to the store, click on RPG Menu 1, then RPG Store.
This store will let you buy stats for your character.

Auction

Found by clicking on RPG Menu 2, and Auction.
First thing you be looking at is "Current Auctions", here you will see all the auctions along with the link entitled "View Auction", simply press that link to view the auction.
The auction has it's own navigation bar, on it you will see the link entitled "Start An Auction", simply press that link and fill out the form to start your own auction.
Closing your auction will allow for you to choose the winning bid, it doesn't have to be the best offer, but it's up to you! This can be done by looking at the navigation bar and finding the link entitled "Close Your Auction".
If you feel you need to update your auction, this can be done by pressing the link entitled "Edit Your Auction" in the navigation bar below.
If you choose to cancel your auction, this will mean all bids are removed, and the auction is removed, with no winner. This can be done by pressing the link entitled "Cancel Auction" in the navigation bar below.

Spells Shop

To get here, click on RPG Menu 2, then Spells Shop. Here you can buy spells for your character to use in combat.

Statistics

Found by clicking on RPG Menu 1, and RPG Statistics.
Here you can view the various statistics. You can View RPG Characters With The Most Battle Wins, View RPG Characters With The Most Strength, View RPG Characters With The Most Money, View RPG Characters With The Highest Level, View RPG Characters With The Most Defeats, View Most Purchased Items, and View Most Populated Clans.

Member List

Click on RPG Menu 1, then RPG User List.
This page lists all RPG characters. Here you can see their RPG Member Name, Level, Gil (On Hand), Gil (In Bank), View their Forum Profile, and Scan Their RPG Profile.

Skill Points

Found by clicking on RPG Menu 2, and Skill Points.
You may use your skill points to adapt your characters stats. At the moment, each stat will increase by 3 for every 1 skill point, and how many skill points you currently have. You gain skill points after leveling up in battle. You will currently get 50 skill points for leveling up.

Manage Summon

To get here, click on RPG Menu 2, then Manage Summons.
A Summon is an additional "creature" to aid you in battle. It may be called into battle to help you out in tight situations.
If you want to equip a summon, then look at all the available summons, and scan which one you wish to have. The scan page will display the summons starting stats, and what level you need to be to be able to handle it. Note that if you already have a summon, equipping another will result in you loosing your current one and all stats you may have built on it.
You may also unequip the summon. Please note once you have unequipped the summon any additional stat building you have made to it will be lost forever.
When you have a summon, half of the experience points you get from a battle will go towards the summon, whether you have used it in the battle or not. Like a normal player it will start off at level 1. As it gets more experience, it will level up and it's stats will increase. You may also invest in stat increases from the Store.

Battle Ground

Found by clicking on RPG Menu 2, and Battle Ground.
Winning battles gives you exp and Gil. When you have enough exp, you will gain a level. When you "level up", you will receive 50 Skill points to spend on stats.
When you lose to a bot, you don't lose anything. When you lost to another player, you will lose some of the Gil in your hand and some of the Gil in you bank.
Making a battle with an opponent could never be easier, below you will find the link "Create A New Battle", simply press this and you will be taken to a page where you can input 2 forms. 1 is to battle another member, the other is to battle an AI Bot.
If you have exited your battle for whatever reason, you may come back to it by following the link entitled "Go To Your Current Battle". This will take you back to your current battle if you have one.
Also shown below is all current battle's actively going on. With it you will find a link entitled "View", simply press this link to view the battle and see it's current progress and battle log history.
Below this is a status bar that shows how many battles you have fought, and how long you have to wait untill you are allowed to fight again. This is set to 25 battles every 24 hours, with the 24 hours starting at the end of the last battle.
When you want to fight a bot, click on Create a New Battle, and Choose an AI Opponent. AI being the computer. This can help you train up for battle's against members, and AI Bot's are always available. The link "Scan Bot" can be pressed to check the statistics of the bot before you decide which to battle. You may also choose to select a location and music for you battle.

Triple Triad

This is a quick guide to levelling.
Firstly, when you create an Inferno character, check the stats boost you get with your element. To start with, you may want to pick either Fire or Apocalypse. Fire boosts your hp, str, and def; whilst Apocalypse only boosts your Str.
To begin with, play TripleTriad a lot, and make some Gil - this will let you heal yourself in case you die.
Now go start a battle against a bot. When you win a battle, you get some Gil and experience points. When you level up, you get Stat bonus points.
Different people have different philosophies towards their stats. Some say that investing most of their Gil in their hp, and the rest in Def and using the stat points for evasion, mean that the bots have to attack you longer to kill you, allowing you longer to attack them. Others say that investing heavily in Str and Vitality, and a little in Def will let you kill the bots quicker so that they don't have enough time to kill you.
As you level and devlop your own style of levelling, you may go back to the RPG control panel and change your element to better suit you.

You should also consider your leveling style when picking your job, as some give better hp or str or vit than others. If you're not bothered about your stats just yet, and would rather get more Gil, some jobs offer more Gil per day than others.

vit and eva are the only 2 stats you cant upgrade in the store via stat boosts so they can only be increased at source by skill point usage.

but items upgrades arnt at source cint. you lose the stat when you upgrade or unequip

You don't lose the stat if you upgrade an item, only when you unequip it. I understand you're saying that the stat can't be bought at the store, but I'm saying that it can be boosted through the use of items/upgrades.

This may sound like a bit of a dumb question but how do I check how much money I have aquired?

It shows on scan sell what you have in your hand and on most of the store screens.

If you look at the rpg bank it shows what you have and whats in the bank for you too.
