The next time you get a timeout, can you do a ping to Total Format as quickly as possible and post the results to me please.

I upgraded package in Nov to XL which gives me 20mb broadband. They've just sent me a new modem which I'm waiting for someone to come and set up for me as knowing me I'll muck summat up or maybe blow it up lol. I only rang to see why my internet kept bombing out for 2 days, you gotta love these call centres in India in other words no idea so here have a new modem lol

These time outs I get don't happen everytime I play the games mentioned I can play ok try again get TO msg then play them a few times b4 getting it again Cheerleader is the worse one so far for doing it

That's why we need to decipher if it's happening at times when TF is on a go slow, or when your ISP may have a possible go so going on.

Something is causing the connection rate between your machine to TFs server to be slower than the acceptable cutoff speed for the arcade, once we figure out what, where and why, it will make it easier fixing permanently.

Due to others occasionally having timeouts, it does make me lean towards thinking that something at TFs end is at fault, but knowing these things for fact will make it eaiser to sort em out properly.

I've just had a few goes on cheerleader but my score submitted each time.

Tried Towerball and it worked the first few goes, but then failed to submit a score.

instead of setting up a wall of cheap turrets, use walls instead. Is ok on the first levels where they die pretty quickly, but after lvl 3 they seem pretty useless.

I've got the latest arcade version now, together with the latest release of the actual forum software, so at some point in the next two weeks, i'll be taking TF down for a day or two, implementing the new software and hopefully correcting a few of the bugs that are annoying the community and me.
