Does this game save just one score the first score you submit and no other? I played it last night I submitted a score of 844 hadn't a clue really what I was doing even though I read it all but enjoyed it, I just fell short of lvling up. Played it a few times today and I have finally got to lvl up and get onto lvl5 yet when I die click submit it comes up with only high scores save or whatever it says in red at bottom in other words tough Moonie you didn't beat 844. Surely by getting further into the game I should have had a higher score than my first go at it or am I missing something ?
I've managed to submit 2 scores, but i have also had the same msg when i managed to get further into the game than i did when getting my current score on the scoreboard.(only made it to lvl 2 tho, died when i couldn't find the cloaked mob in time to stop the missile strike)
At the time i had thought that allowing my defences to kill alot of the attacking mobs instead of killing them with my powers lowered my score a bit, but if you managed to get to lvl 5 then you must have killed alot of them with powers (since thats how you get exp), so maybe it is bugged.
sorry might have mislead you there Lex I meant lvl 5 as in the 5th mission which has the cloaked thingie that's where I'm dying he's a nippy sod
Ah, i missunderstood you.
In that case it might still be that killing mobs with the defence towers slightly lowers the score, because i can't seem to get that far into the game without building them to deal with most of the mobs on screen as i can never regen mana fast enough to kill many of them with the spite power before they destroy my base.
when you lvl up you gain a skill point I've been using mine on mana regen what you been doing with yours lol. I've sussed out the thing you use to detect cloaked thing only coz I know where he is to start with but does it damage him? 3 times I found him and it put blue circles out from where he was now do I keep doing that and when he runs to detonate do I use that or the other one Cint where are you when we need you LOL

As for the invisible guy, that pops up in two more levels. A quick tip - press Q to change the quality of the game. The high qual level REALLY slows down the game, giving you that extra two or three seconds to locate the invisible guy.

after numerous failures of killing that guy I had another read of the tutorial and it says :-
True Sight (lvl 2) Non offensive power, allows you to detect cloaked units
Note that cloaked units are invincible in this game
I can find using true sight well I presume I've found as I get a blue thing if I remember rightly, after saying that it says they are invincible in this game so how the hell are you killing them lol
OK this is really really bugging me now. My first score I submitted was 844 and didn't get to lvl 2 with that. I played numerous times getting further and further into the game well up to the point where that guy detonates missile strike and submitted score on each occasion and it failed to go up. Over the Bank Holiday I had probs with comp so Jason cleaned it all up deleting cookies, history and anything else he could find that wasn't needed. I played this and guess what it submitted score of 852 not much better I know lol but was still getting blown up by the missile strike. I've played today beaten the missile strike beaten the tank yes I got to either lvl 4 or 5 dunno which one and again it failed to save a score. Is this cookie based or what? or am I just bashing my head on a brick wall ?
They are not invincible. Once located, kill it with your spell. In the later levels use truesight on the flying things as they turn invisible so that your building things can attack them, otherwise if you ts them when they get to you you have to kill them yourself using your magic...
Thanks for the tips Cint I'm just plodding on if it submits it submits if not I'm past caring now, I'm just enjoying playing LOL
It does say in Tutorial though that in this game cloaked units are invincible obviously he's got it wrong
