You get 20 credits for each post you make. you use these credits in the pet store Pet Store (all the pet bit are in that bit titled Petz in the nav bar near the top) not only can you buy pet food, but also various upgrades and various other pet items such as a play ball, magical gems, artificial implants, etc. You should also set up a bank account (if you haven't already), which you can earn 10% interest on if you choose to save a little of your money, by depositing your credits into that account (interest is paid just before 1am each day).

You need to go to the pet store and by pet food to stop your pets insatiable appetite. Theres various sizes portions of food available, at various prices.
