reset scores again?

when TF went down and det said that he lost the scores for arcade, i thought maybe that would be good coz every1 could try again
i mean ppl like osborne and adrianne and others would easily get their championness back etc, but it would mean people could be top 10 for a while on things and its more fun than the top 10 of a lot of games all being the same score or similar scores which are unbeatable.

wouldnt it be more fun to reset the scores and have changing champions again like we used to get when it was all new? i think so.

reset them every 2 weeks or month (if that is possible) and i think more people would replay games and generally there would be more fun to be had at the TF arcades.

That sounds like a good idea to me. Do a hall of fame or top 10 of the month for each game though, as to not lose those.

Well I did suggest that at the start of the arcade, but turned the feature off because it created an almighty rage in people and I had loads of people complaining about it.

There will be a full score reset in the near future anyway though when VB3 Gold is released.

I don't see the point Tef as like you said the current champs would just simply re-take the titles.

I do agree though the high scores that people have been getting does put you off playing the games. Take that tower ball game for example, I really use to like that game but then Ignis just totally smashed my personal best.

At the end of the day though it would be unfair on those who worked to gain their records. I had to improve at curveball to get where I am now, I use to think it would be a huge achievement to get over 30k!. Also look at the games where people spent ages actually getting the record (like the tower ball record for example tooknearly 30 mins to achieve).

At the end of the day I can see what you're saying however I would argue it would be unfair on those who worked to get their titles, it's makes the whole point of top ten score pointless if you're going to just reset them every 2 weeks/months etc.

Maybe an all time record board and a weekly top 10 for each game could be done?
