Ruud isn't what he used to be? He was one of very few putting any effort in. Despite being the only striker and the only attacking outlet in the team he's still working around his own box. I don't know about anybody else but personally a player with that kind of work rate deserves to be in any team.

As for Saha. One good season doesn't make him worthy of being at the best team in the country. He's only worth considering because he's eligible for the CL. If it were the start of the season his name would not be mentioned because we we'd be looking at a lot better possibilities.

We do need more strikers, to ask Ruud to carry the frontline by himself is ridiculous. And then to say he's not what he used to be, give him a break .

love to see man united get relegated, not just because i hate them, but just to see alllllllllll the "fans" who would stop supporting them.

to be a true supporter u need to be able to support ur team through the highs & the lows, which is why u wont know who the true united supporters are till that happens

and indeed forge, hooray for Wolves ^__^

It is just cous most people should support the team where you were born

I am not sure how you can support a team where you can not see them play live personally but then again if I moved from where I live I would still support them

Yes i support that. Im from Plymouth and have supported them from Division 3 in 1996 to division 2 back down to division 3 then the slumb years. Now that theyre doing well again and mayube in first division it feels good Saying that theres loads more going to games and claiming to be "fans" just because there doing well :cupwin:

if ne1 in the premiership sold 7 internationals they would find it hard to beat easy teams like southampton, i wasnt expectin a result tbh i wasnt even expectin a goal considerin viduka's on the other side of the world, i know now that we wont stay up we need to win like 9 games out of 17 and we've only managed 4 wins all season, all i can hope for is the club to survive and maybe one day become the powerful force we were 3-4 seasons ago but as long as the club is still in business u will neva see me supportin ne other team, theres a large majority that take the **** (most bein man utd fans) but all i can say to them is there great record in the premiership will not run 4eva, look at liverpool they won the old division 1 year after year for about 10-15 years and now look at them they r strugglin to make it into europe, man utd may not go the same was as us but they wont be winnin the league in a few years time when fergie retires, lets just c how many man utd fans there r when this happens and also southampton r only doin aswell as they r atm because of one man....maybe 2 but one of them wont be there next season.....yeah u got it.....strachan and wouldnt suprise me if beattie the other man left next season when there fightin against relegation either

It means you can buy quality players, which is 50% of the battle won straight off, it means you can give your players bigger bonuses for winning matches, it means you can attract better players in the first place, it also means that better managers will want to come to the club, because they know they will not be in constant trouble financially and that they are going to have a bit of money to spend to strengthen the club. Lack of money results in Leeds & Sunderlands situation unfortunately. The players get worried, the manager gets worried, the performances become shoddy, they slip down the league, everything becomes doom and gloom and you end up getting relegated.

Every team get's hiccups now and again though, I think Man Utd will fall a little from their royal plateau when Fergie either dies or finally retires. I still think they will be top 6 every year though unless something drastic happens and they get some crappy manager in who destroys the team (like that's ever going to happen in reality though)...

Saha - Does nobody remember how outstanding he was for fulham in the 1st Division? It's obviously taken him a fair while to get used to the Premiership as it does with a hell of a lot of players, but I think he would now make a great partner or understudy for RVN. Even if he doesn't go to Man Utd in the end I definatly think he will be gone from fulham either very soon or at the end of this season.
