Carlos Tevez
What is going to happen with Carlos Tevez? Man Utd want to buy him illegally from some wacky 3rd party Iranian who seems to believe he can own another human's 'economic rights'.
Obviously West Ham took Tevez and Mascherano on a dodgy deal, most other clubs refused the terms on offer, but now the exponential greed of Manchester's second favourite team is bringing a whole new level of scrutiny to the situation.
It looks as though West Ham basically tore up the contract they had with MSI in order to register Tevez for the end of last season. So the Premier League granted West Ham his registration, under a 4 year contract which runs until 2010.
Now Joorabchain seems to think he needs to exert his hold over another human's 'economic rights' to shift the boy on to another paid for loan deal with option to buy. Presumably to offer him around after the 2 years are up to Inter or Real, screwing Man Utd over.
Those are the facts as I understand them, feel free to argue.
But I can't believe Man Utd would stoop so low, and if they do, it will probably result in West Ham being punished, perhaps Man Utd as well for trying to arrange a medical for a player they had no rights to approach, and even Liverpool because they ended up with Mascherano. Although Liverpool might be ok because West Ham apparently cancelled their deal with Mascherano because they seemed to think he was rubbish.
What say you fellows?
