Learning Greek

anyone know the best way to learn greek?
i remember a bit of french and spanish from school, but there
has to be a better way of learning than old school style,
anyone?

Get Skype or some other free VOIP program, then randomly call greeks?

I go for the 'spoon feed me before I even touch a fork' approach, where everything is broken down and spelt out to me.

Have a look for some really good books on it. I'm casually learning a bit of Japanese and there are the odd really useful textbooks around.

ugh japanese, such a painful language to learn (well, compared to german anyway...).

try books, or maybe if you're lucky a local uni/college runs night/weekend courses...i know my japanese teacher taught saturday japanese on the side.

Why would you want to learn Greek anyway? I would imagine learning Klingon has more practical uses.
