England, Wales & N Ireland... all in the same qualifying group for the World Cup in 2006.
![]() Hehe, that could make for some really great games. Besides Poland though, I think England have been given a really easy group to qualify from. think Wales might put up a good fight, but they are not strong enough to take on England. It was a shame Scotland didn't get put in that group too, Scotland don't stand a chance of going through looking at the teams they've drawn. :/ |

although i'd be supporting England, i doubt it'll be a walk in the park against the Welsh.
the Welsh may have less to choose from but least their manager is Welsh Hughes could pick a good side even if there were more options. England have a dodgy manager and a much more dis-jointed side imo.although this is a while away yet isnt it? do the qualifiers start around September 2004? maybe Sven will have left ![]() |

England should win no doubt, two of the best runner ups of all the groups go through and the rest of the runner ups (6 teams) have playoffs. It will be between Wales and Poland for second place and I think Poland will do it, they nearly qualified for Euro 2004 only just missing out. |

Forge - I don't think the England - Wales home tie will be played in the Millenium stadium, it'll probably be played in Manchester if anywhere. Oh and yeah, if Wales play the whole qualifying to their potential, they could well get a 2nd place qualifying spot for the world cup, not sure if they will though as Poland are a pretty strong team and I think England may well struggle against them. |

*sigh* how long will this country be without a national stadium.
would have liked to have seen Wembley done up, instead they flatten it, and ask for about £1.5 billion to build a stadium without a running track, when the italians can build stadiums with the running tracks for about £400-500million. something aint right -.- |
