Well there's only 2 spots up for grabs for relegation with Leeds being an almost dead cert to go down.
I think Blackburn have to much strength in their squad to get relegated this season, especially when you have much weaker teams like Bolton, Leicester and Wolves around. Even if the devils work did happen and you were relegated, you'd probably find yourselves doing what Sunderland normally do, either bounce straight back or get back within 2 seasons. At least your not 80mil in debt like Leeds, they don't have a chance really do they... |

It isnt Souness' fault at all, The majority of Rovers fans have and always will be "Closet Supporters".
Im from Accrington.. about 7 miles from Blackburn and they can barely get anyone into Ewood Park.. I'm a Manchester United fan through and through but I go to every home Accrington Stanley match, Ewood has no atmosphere whilst MUFC and ASFC both have a tremendous one. The rovers fans should stop blaming souness and start supporting thier club!. =.= |

Thing with Blackburn is they were dumb selling Dunn and DUff. Those 2 were the creativity whcih made Blackburn succesful last season. Also fact that even with prices at 10 pounds you only get 21,000 supporters is pretty poor. I believe Sourness is the man for the job tho no other manager can or could of done better

if a club makes an offer and a player wants to leave theres little u can do about it. would b silly to keep someone at a club that they dont want to b at, they could just play crap till u sell them. Duff & Dunn were both great but Rovers have sold many great players before and have carried on fine. same will happen here. |

Looked what happened at Leeds when they tried to keep hold of all the players. Loads got upset at sitting on the bench, so they were paid large amounts to try and keep them happy, 2yrs down the line they are on the verge of being bankrupt, all those unhappy players have now left anyway, a lot at cut prices, they are bottom of the league, no manager and looking seriously in very deep trouble unless a rich Russian type figure comes along and rescues them. Where as, sunderland saw the trouble and downloaded 22+ players in the space of 6 weeks to cut wage bills and to avoid that happening. Blackburn have been wise in my opinion to sell them while they were hot and to get the most they could for them before they lost them for nothing when their contracts run out, which at least keeps them financially sound and in a poisition to strengthen the squad if and when needed... |
