Soon after Fulham released 8 players, Brian McBride has decided to leave FFC and return to the US. Having barely evaded relegation, how will they improve for next year? I am not hopeful for them.

They are seriously going to struggle next season.

They don't have big gates to boost the kitty for a start and Fayed has cut back his investments in the club and is giving very little to boost things in a way that would entice new players to join.

McBride and his goals are without a doubt the main reason Fulham managed to escape the drop on the final day, I can not see them managing that next season, even with Roy Hodgson in charge.

I wish they could remain Team America - it's kind of fun to have English speaking players. However, I expect that Dempsey will either leave, or get run over by some oversize defender (Campbell, Vidic, etc) before the end of September.

I think they'll stay up. I rate Roy Hodgson as a manager really highly and him keeping Fulham up was just the start of it I think.
