So, Scotland are out, although they were a bit unlucky to be honest, Northern Ireland still have a small glimmer of hope thanks to a good win over Denmark and thanks to Israel Englands hopes of getting to the finals is back in the England teams hands...

Do you think we will beat Croatia on Wednesday?

I'm torn personally, I can't stand Steve Mclaren, I find him really arrogent and plain annoying and for that reason, i'm kind of partially wanting us to lose, so that he will hopefully resign so we can get someone decent in to do the job. but at the same time, a tournament finals wouldn't have the same draw for me without a home nations team in it to follow.

Do you think Beckham should play on Wednesday?

I think he should sit on the bench and come on if we need something special to happen late on personally. I don't think he has 90 minutes left in him at this level.

Can we actually score goals without Michael Owen?

Personally I don't think we can, I think the teams scoring ability and ideas are based around having Owen on the pitch and without him the team don't seem as confident and don't seem to be able to do anything different with replacement strikers, so without him we simply score a lot less.

I really hope we do beat croatia but it wouldnt suprise me if we didn't do it all the build up to the game and we don't deliver.

I think we should give him 75 minutes on the pitch and then bring someone else on who is a bit more livelier and can produce.. Don't know Aaron Lennons situation but he is the sort of player that could produce summit in last 25 minutes.

I think we can... But the question is will we.. The past 4 games how many goals has Owen been involved in? Nearly all of them. It all depends on who Steve Mclaren plays and how he motivates his players that is what will carry us through if we do go through.

About the Scotland situation I am still finding it hard to believe how the free kick was given against Scotland. The Italian player came barging in from behind and won a free kick from it. The liner was closer to the incident so why didn't he interfere with it all? :S Scotland have been hard done by their work effort has been tremendous throughout the qualifiers and should deserve better. They deserve to go through more than what England do imo.

The referees decision yesterday was god awful. How he could give a freekick for that is unbelievable.

The first goal for italy was a silly one nerves on the pitch and the ball boy allowing the italians to take a quick throw in.

Scotland had their chances to take the lead though but we didn't take them. The sickening thing will be if ukraine beat france then if we had drawn with italy we would have still went through.
