PS3 vs 360

so any1 on here got the ps3 yet?

Must say i was dissapointed with it at 1st although the games i got wernt too good. Resistence fall of man is a good game but 360 is better to me atm

tbh im glad i couldent afford a ps3, although i may get one in a year or 2,,,,BUT with ff13 destined to be milti platform there is only MGS4 and god of war 3 and maybe the odd original title that will get me to buy a ps3, so if they go to the 360 then i wont get one.

Unfortunately i am far far too poor at the moment for either, and am still on the fence as to which one i should get, gonna glory support the one that is gonna have the best games and presently that is neither here nor there as far as i am concerned.

Not buying neither of them at the moment. None of the games for either console appeal to me right now, i'll probably be getting a 360 first though since Halo 3 should be comming sometime this year and i have no idea when FF 13 and MGS 4 will hit Europe.

Well I've got all this gen's consoles. And wouldn't give up any!

The Wii's great for games like Zelda, Mario and the party games that are amazing when you've got a few friends round and you're quite drunk.

Not sure if anything will beat the 360 for FPS, yeah Resistance is a cool game for the PS3 but it just isnt as good as games like Halo and Ghost Recon. Then there will be Halo 3 online.... only an insane man wouldnt own a 360!

As for the PS3 with games like FFXII (yeah yeah I know it can be played on a PS2) and upcoming titles like MGS4 and FFXIII what more could you want? Needless to say the PS always gets the best RPG's.

Right now I don't think any is better than any other, just simply isnt enough games out their right now to pick the best one. If FFXIII does go multi platform though I can see loads of people going for the cheaper option of a 360 instead of a PS3.

*sigh* if only they still made FF games for the PC, although with the new fighting system I doubt thats ever going to be possible again without growing a third arm for all the keys it would require±

You could've said the same about the appeal on the 360 when it first appeared as well.

I think Sony have something they aren't letting on anyway as the new 360 Elite console uses HDMI and has the bigger hard drive and Microsoft even said that the HD DVD player doesn't come with the Elite package cause they might use Blu-Ray as there platform, why not just make a PS3 in that case?

Its strange but the PS3 doesn't appeal to many atm yet its still selling out and I think its doubtful we'll see FFXIII on the 360, possible but doubtful.

Now isn't the time to judge a console war, give Sony and Nintendo a year in the market just like Microsoft and then judge it because 2007 will see some of the hottest games to ever hit the market and this will ultimately decide the winner, not the console itself but the games available as many have said the only good game pn the PS3 atm is Resistance.

Things will only get better.

You sure its selling out?

I bought 3 thinking they would sell out and ended up keeping two and taking one back to a local shop which took ages as the stores manager wasn't all that fussed about taking it back!

People were selling them on eBay for under the £425 tag price becuase shops wouldnt take them back and places like game, gamestation, HMV, ASDA and TESCO's still have excess stock.

theres loads on the shelves at my local argos,blockbusters,currys,game, gamestation blah blah, hardly selling out.

They will be good games but I don't think they will really compare to the likes of FF
