Scalpers Return Their PS3's

What are scalpers to do when they can't hock their once white-hot PlayStation 3s on eBay for massive profit? Eh, just return them to the store and get a refund. It seems that PlayStation 3 fever has cooled considerably, if the Hamilton Spectator is to be believed. eBay opportunists looking for a quick buck are having a hard time commanding more than 10% to 20% profit on their PS3s.

Restocked consoles will surely make gamers desperate for a PS3 happy, but retailers probably won't be pleased. And poor scalpers, they'll be making a 0% return on their investment, after sitting on hundreds of dollars of electronics, bundled accessories and games for six weeks.

As bad as this may seem for Sony (doubt they care too much, as they have made their money from the sale) i cant help getting a warm happy feeling from this knowing those gits couldnt sell their console on ebay, even more so since i bet their buying the console for ebay ment some poor kid had to miss out this christmas.

I don’t feel sorry for them because its like any business venture (comes with risks) I myself have sold Wii's for profit and I don’t see why people are against it.... jealous that others bought them and made some easy money perhaps? But I for one have pre-ordered my PS3 for eBay already and can’t wait until I get it and can eBay it for some easy profit
