I know my awsome siggy says otherwise, but i have know its been wrong for ages, since Nintendo officially announced the Wii had sold over 2 million units over a week ago.

We wont know for sure until Sony says something, and i would have though they would have been eager to tell us they got 1 million PS3 out there, especially since 360 only sold around 300,000 my end 05.

yea they made a mill a while ago i believe, the thing is sony said they wanted 2mill by years end which i dont think they will make so if they say they have sold 1mill then peeps will bring up 2mill figure again and it will get spinned again...

"SONY DIDNT REACH 2MILL PREDICTED FIGURE BY YEARS END"..etc

its best if they stfu and just get making the consoles and getting it out there and getting the good games out there aswell.


o and dont even trust nexgenwars....its the most unreliable site ever, i remember when they had the Wii numbers at like 700k then discreetly changed them to under 400k when the official numbers came out. atleast VGcharts has some sources...

There is no independant body to accumulate sales data for "the rest of the world" so really all figures we see on these types of site aren't entirely true, and of course Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony all work differently when it comes to sales. Microsoft work in units sold to retailers, Sony work in Units Shipped and Nintendo work in units sold to actual consumers.
