final fantasy tactics (psp)

anyone got this? it could be me been a scooby but this game is well hard lol
its a turn based strategy a lot like vandal hearts on the ps1.
i have done about 3 battles in the story and keep getting nailed, then when i try and lvl up i get nailed again lol
dont get me wrong i like games to be a challenge (and this sure is)
or am i doing summin wrong??

so anyone offer any tips?

Don't rotate your starting line-up, just stick to a few so they lvl up.
I started with a couple of fighters, an archer and a white wiz I think. Once they go up a few lvls you can change classes and make them multi-talented.
After about 10 battles you get tough new guys joining your side, so just try to get that far and you should be ok from thereon.

BTW battles 6,7,8 etc are actually easier than the first few, just use heal and potions and buy spells for your men and you will get through those tricky early ones.

It is a hard game, but it gets easier as you get used to it.

Is it the same as the the GBA version or different storyline?

Totally different to the GBA one. You can run the GBA version on a PSP though.
The PSP specific game is very similar to the PS1 FFTactics, only some slight differences.

On a completely seperate note, Does anyone know of any decent PSP emulators that can open ISO's?.

Not for the PC, but the PSP comes with shiny new Pops so you can emulate on them.
