OK this is 100% true, it's important you grasp that fact if you are going to read on and offer your opinion which I am going to ask for.

I live on the edge of a small town of about 6000 people somewhere in Scotland. In the last week 2 people have died from Heroin overdoses. I had it explained to me from a local Heroin user that this happens when a particularly pure batch hits the area, and people take their usual amount, say 3 bags or whatever, but it's actually the equivalent of maybe 9 or 12 of their normal bags.

Anyway I do take drugs, never tried Heroin but I smoke the sticky green weed a lot and occassionally take an E or some MDMA. Sometimes I take sleeping pills for no reason and I smoke fags and drink alcohol. For these reasons I feel it would be slightly hypocritical to look down on Heroin users and generally I just gently disapprove.

So... the moral quandry I find myself in. Hopefully my name and address can't be got off TF by the police or anything. I know who sold the dead guys the Heroin. I know his name, what he looks like and where he lives.
I neither like nor dislike him, in some ways I think it's good he sold high purity product, but those people died.....

Could I win money from the police if I tell them? Would you people tell them? (I know most of you are squares and will say yes without a second thought) If I don't tell them does that make me in some way a bad man?

Anyway I would only tell them if I won lots of money for it because the police are scum. The dealer might get murdered soon anyway, that's what happened the last time this went on in my town.

Any closed-minded retard answers will just get ignored.

seems to me the only real motivator here is the money which i doubt you will get.
My opinion, stay out of it and mind your own business, this isnt effecting you in anyway.
Besides last thing you want is the police wondering how you came across such information in the first place.

No the police wouldn't offer you a reward.

Being a square if i knew someone who was selling drugs then yes i would tell the police.

I've woken up to a dead body on my doorstep, and that was a pure batch of heroin i believe the police said.

How do you explain to a child to step over the man asleep on your doorstep. (apart from saying he is asleep)

Youre not going to get any money out of it, so theres no massive benefit for you.

Theres always the risk that if you know who dealt it they know you know, i guesses.


For me it would depend on my situation and the area, not any moral line tbh. If it didnt affect me and my neighbours wouldnt be going cold turkey etc, cos i lived in the nice part away from the skagheads then id let them get on with ghetto life. If on the other hand they were likely to cause me grief, or make me late by dying on my doorstep or on my car then id get involved.

Simple as that imo, im not gonna go round playing jebus, but ill complain when shit flys in my direction.

I'd say keep yourself safe and let those who want to get into drugs like heroin get on with it. Everyone knows the risks associated with taking any drugs, and they chose to ignore them. In an ideal world where coppers weren't stuck behind piles of paperwork and could actually go and give dealers a good kick up the arse, then I'd walk you to the cop shop, but as it is, you grass, the dealers find out, thats you prolly in a whole heap of crap you can do without.

I agree with this to a point even if it means taking a bus or train ride away from the area to do it. Saving the pushers life well not sure about that would think he's beyond help or do the pushers not take the drugs they push? you could save the lives of a lot more though and by that I mean children growing up and not knowing any better or might think it's cool to take drugs. All pushers should be shopped.

yeah id be surprised if they started giving out money for such info but its a thought would it be a good idea? might lead to some dodgy info though ...

you might get a merit badg or something. id be more woried personaly about the guy finding out whod shoped him and putting a contract to kill. i would probably shop them otherwise, but generaly unless someone bothers me i dont bother them.

if i had a relative who was on heroine it might be diferent. heroine is an aweful drug theres no two ways about it, people making money out of such misery is sickening.

they guys that sold the herion that isnt pure are just as much to blame for these guys deaths, in fact you could say they are more guilty becuase they are selling inferior goods.
