seriously though , this product needs to be banned or we'll be seeing it's effects throughout the food chain in a few years time. It won't be till we have babies being born without arms though before it's taken off the market ![]() |

is it as i sugested becuase cows eat grass wich is digested mostly due to bacteria in their many stomachs, and i think a lot of it passes through that cant be digested, so is a bit like like compost, where as we eat meat and a few vegies. maybe vegeterian poop is ok ? and if its so toxic how do we survive considering our lower intestine absorbs a lot from it ? and what of the sort of diet being fed to cows now? they get high protein feed a lot of them wich is unatural. not to mention this new stuff nasty stuff they get from the grass. im sure i saw on one of those crazy documentry programs with that guy on a pink bycicle about on self suficiency that some british inventor found that if you treated human waste in a certain way you could use it to grow better vegetables in your garden, but i think if you just do your poop straight onto your vegetables in the midddle of the night so you dont get seen and arrested, youd get some pretty disapointing results. i think ordinary cow manure goes through qyuite a long process before it is used. i think bacteria is used to break it down over a period of time. i wonder where my cats go to do their buisiness, but my garden is so overgrown maybe that explains it. what do we need to put on our crops anyway? basicaly it is the very things that the plants extract from the soil, and hence leave the soil depleted, I know nitrogen is one and probably potasium too, theres lots of others, like magnesium, but plants can grow easily without this. however american history tells of us some setler village where soil became so poor in magnesium it cuased a lot of problems for the humans who need smal quantities. ps this is of the top of my head so dont jump on me if its wrong :p im not a horticulturalist. |

i think its cos human poop is pure shit where as cow and horse poop has grass and stuff in it. also from a meat eater the poo wouldnt be organic.
having said that, it says here that its not beyond doing.... Composting human waste i always knew that wee wee was good for the garden and often used to piss in my compost bin when i had my allotment ![]() |
