Hello TF users, I have a 3000 word essay to write and I need ideas on what to write about. I have to choose two out of the three topics I mentioned in the thread title and write a essay that combines them both. Honestly the only ones that I think will go together are Economics & Law or Economics and Math. The balance of the topics can be around 50/50 or 60/40.
Can anyone give me some ideas to write about? |

I would have thought economics and law would have been a fairly simple and well tied together subject to come up with 3000 words for to be honest, especially with the current economic climate and the laws that labour keep on bringing in to attempt to counter the worsening situation and credit crunch that is happening.
I watch the subject closely and enjoy reading about uk economics, but from a personal point of view, my opinions and ideas on the subject are somewhat my own point of view and almost certainly don't reflect the voice of the government and law makers. Maybe you could pick out 1 particular law within uk economics that you personally feel is unjust or wrong and put up an argument against it, in a manner that shows you clearly understand that particular law and how it effects the economy, people, the government, public view of the law and stuff like that? I don't know, I don't know exactly what is expected of you for the essay. I mean, one very recent economic change of policy is the 10p tax, which has effected over 1 million families in the UK. |
