Sharia law is supposed to be very peaceful if some quarters are to be believed, but evil if others are to be believe, but at the end of the day i'm a bit of a traditionalist anyway and believe in the whole "when in Rome" type thing. |

ROFL bring on the Sharia.
Women are acting well above their station these days anyway, going out without male chaperones, driving, being raped and not being put in prison for it, not being beaten daily by their husbands, being seen in public talking to males who are not immediate family relations, speaking without being spoken to, doing jobs.... Also men are out of control, not praying to some fairytale bullshit 5 times a day by law, sometimes drinking alcohol and eating pork, having only one wife, not blowing themselves up on the London fucking Underground 3 times a day. Sharia will sort us all out won't it Rowan Williams you sycophantic coward? |

he should resign immediatley, his comments are blasphemous,
There is no place for migrant religious law in this country, only british law, made by representatives of the voting majority in this country, Imagine if an Imam stood up in iran and said that christian influenced law should reign there? he'd be minus a head and 6ft under camel shit by now. what a tard. |

Bad.
I'm perfectly open to the process of immigration and foreign nationals of any race, colour, religion and political view are welcome to move to Britain so long as they're open to the concept that it's Britain - not whichever country it is you're from. If you want to live here, you can work, speak the language, and abide by OUR law - just like everyone else. If Muslims want to live under Sharia law, they can go and live in a Muslim country where they have Sharia law in force. Living under British law hasn't been a problem for most of the Muslims in this country so far, so why the change? Oh, and I really hate that archbishop chap. I've read some bits about it, but don't fully claim to understand the whys and what fors that are to do with the law, but I honestly think he may have a point. Perhaps not a very good one, but still a point. Anyway, I think we are heading towards having to accept some of Muslim laws into our own as we try to embrace our fellow citizens, and as the UK as a whole is becoming quite populated by people that follow this faith and culture, it won't be long until they claim our laws are outdated ( which some are but that's by the by) or before very powerful Muslims with plenty of money get their say in laws and votes that are passed. I think he went about it in the wrong way, and like I said, I don't claim to really understand what he is on about, but I think its inevitable that one day the religious faith that will be the most dominant one in the years to come, and I think it will be Muslim, you only have to look at birth rates, will have a say in the law of the land.
Me personally, when in Rome, do as the Romans do. |
