In my opinion, there simply has to be extra terrestrial life out there somewhere, the expanse out there is simply to massive for us to be all alone. I don't however think they are at all likely to look like the large eyed, illuminous green aliens that are so often depicted in the movies and on TV.
I'm pretty sure millions of minute extra terrestrial life forms have penetrated our planets atmosphere, but nothing that has actually made contact with humans and/or sent us greetings or death threats. I also do not believe in all these supposed ufo sightings. I don't think life from other worlds would travel all the way to Earth to sit above an empty desert in America or to hover above a pub in Warwickshire, just to give us a 2 second glimpse of them and then bugger off again, it's just not logical and makes no sense at all and I am pretty certain they don't come all the way here just to give anal probes to people. I'm pretty certain that at some point in the future contact with intelligent life from another planet will be made, but whether it's hostile, friendly, understandable or anything like that I haven't got a clue and I wouldn't like to even think about a time scale, besides thinking that any intelligent life clever enough to travel to Earth would take one look at our way of life and probably fly away without bothering to contact us, until such point as we have evolved enough to have stopped destroying everything we touch. Taking into account, my imagination says that any species wandering through space looking for other habitable planets would be most likely to want that planet for their collection and if they saw such a primative species as humans, they would probably just zap us all and take the planet for their own, or like in War of The Worlds, use us as some kind of food or fertiliser. In my mind the only limit to possibilities regarding what is out there is my own imagination, but I like to imagine and so long as I am not proved for certain that they do or do not exist and what they look like if they do actually exist and all the rest of it, my mind will run riot and imagine every weird and wonderful scenario imaginable. |

well there are trillions of planets in hundreds of billions of galaxies so the chances of there being life out there are so high its almost impossible for there not to be life out there.
we may not even be the only universe as we may just be one in yet more billions of universes out there but they are too far away to see. |

Its improbable that other intelligent lifeforms dont exist, Look at the advancements humankind have mind in such a short time.. Their could be beings out there so advanced its beyond our understanding.
If your taking about basic lifeforms then I would have to say almost definitely, The chances of earth being the only planet with life is ridiculous. |

On a serious note though, I'm very curious to actually here of this evidence also, as i'm sure it would have been pretty big news if they'd actually found some sort of solid proof of alien life. I know they've said that water existed on both the Moon and Mars that means life would have been possible, but to my knowledge they hadn't actually found life itself. |
