It's digusting. Why is it posted in serious discussion forum though? What is there to discuss? I don't think many will disagree that it's sick.

you would think it would be much easier route to put the child up for adoption. At least that way there's a good chance of the child having a better chance at a good life.

I really don't understand why custodial sentences are so stupidly short tho it really gets my goat.

I am beginning to believe that they don't actually remember what a jail sentences are for. They even get pay rises in there now ><

Maybe if they actually made jail life hard and didn't give them any rights to anything but bread, water and a wooden slat to sleep on and made it so everyone did there whole sentence and stacked them 10 high if they needed the space then less criminals and potential criminals would be inclined to commit crimes.

If they made it so only terms shorter than 2 years were in jails that allowed privileges and rehab facilities then moved people from the mainstream long term jails into rehab for there last 2 years of term too then maybe the system would begin to take on the role it was meant to.

I mean 9 years for killing a life that would last potentially another 100 and that probably reduced to 5 - sheeesh no wonder they took the risk.

Sick crimes like this should be dealt with swift justice and subjection to poor, at best, lifestyle for the full duration of the laws sentence.
