Peter and syler will probs team up and become a crime fighting duo complete with matching costumes but will eventually fall out over who's name comes first in all publicity.
Im more worried about the haitian guy, hes clearly a long term uber character imo. At the same time its weird peter didnt absorb his power,
I think Peter can only absorb a persons power if they're using it while he's around, as when he met Syler during season 1 Syler had alot of powers Peter didn't have and the only ones Peter gained were the ones Syler used against him.
The Haitian has used his power around Peter, but i'm sure hes only used it on Peter, meaning he would have been supressing Peter's ability of absorbtion as well, which would explain why Peter can't block others from using their abilities.

When Syler killed Peter in series 1 with the shard of glass, the healing power still worked after he had been dead for some time, so even if the Hiatians power could block the healing ability, it should still return as soon as he stopped blocking it.
Also, in season 2 when Claire was testing her power she cut off her small toe and it regrew, but when Syler removed her scalp in the 1st ep of series 3 it didn't regrow, but did reattach once it was put back in place.
This suggests that while she can regrow some bodyparts, she cant regrow others, so it might be the only way to kill Claire, Peter, Syler, Adam or anyone else with the healing ability would be to decapitate them and put thier head somewhere so they couldn't reattach it.

The Haitian guy appears to have a kind of passive aura that exists while hes concious, rather than directly targetting people. Like how people near him suddenly cant use their powers, even though they havent seen eachother. I cant remember which ep. this is in in series 3, but i dont want to spoil anything. Maybe its a catch 22, in that peters absorbey powers dont work either when hes near the haitian?
I think you have to be careful, looking at Heroes seriously though, its regularly inconsistent from various angles, especially some of the time travel stuff not following usual beliefs/science. Some of the physics is pretty ropey too, but its a comic book type series and i dont think we should over analyse it too much
I really loved that episode. Its definitely a good one for Sylar fans, which tbh must be pretty much everyone who likes heroes.
Without going into plot, i think everyone knows theres a theme of some changes in the future, from what hiro and peter have seen. Do you think theyll change the future so that anything cool that happens there is undone, for the benefit of the series/plot?
Looks like they are setting Syler up to be the hero this time. All the other Petrellis were dead in Angela's dream apart from him. *cough* and the dad obviously.
And uhh... wtf Ando?
parts of S3 are utterly balls, with very little going on and very predictble plot lines of little consequence. The cheerleader plot seems to be there just so people can look at her and tends to be boring as hell.
The sylar story is getting good though and still think hes going to save the day, even if he doesnt make friends with the other "heroes".
I still like it but the plot seems to be moving way way too slow. S1 was great, S2 was awful, S3 started well and now at episode 20 it seems to be going nowhere again. Maybe im too used to 24 and 5 million things happening every hour, but each installment of heroes seems to change very little.
It seems like theyve got too many cast members and cant follow any of their stories well enough, so it keeps jumping from heroes to heroes. Seems strange when they have episodes where say Sylar, Peter, Nathan and Claire dont feature at all after the previous week being all about them and go back to Hiro, Mohinda and Parkman. Like something huge will change 1 character and the week after theyre not even in the episode.
I still like the show, but i wish theyd either cut the cast or feature more of them each week. Its almost like watching different series of the same show week to week. And overall pretty much nothing has happened since the start of S2 except people gaining and losing and regaining powers.
Its been a slow start sofar, i just hope it prooves to be leading somewhere soon.
They've had to clip Peters wings or he would be too powerful for anyone to face up against, and Sylers been distracted by a personal quest for similar reasons.
Best bits up till now have been the 'who will underestimate Syler this episode' moments.
