Starship Troopers 2 is this the new power ranger movie or something? the acting in it is just as bad. The guns look like something you buy for a 5year old kid. Starship Troopers 1 was quite good and i thought number 2 would at least have decent acting in it but i guess i was wrong.

Has anyone else seen this pile of crap? :shakehead

All i remember about it was this really fit alien infested blonde trying to seduce all the men. It was ace.

Straight to video, shockingly bad sequal to a pretty good movie. Yer unfortunately I have seen it. :/

That's terrible, I never knew there was a sequal until now. I always wanted to see how the second one would turn out (as it was clear from the first one there would be a sequal)

Real shame that it turned out bad (must be considering it went straight to video) might check it out to see just how bad it is.

I'm sure the fourth alien insect from the left in the first scene was in the first film.

Nah nobody from the first film was in it. But Ed Lauter was. One of my favourite character actors. And this really fit blonde bird with perky breasts who tried to seduce all the men.

Ive seen the first one about a million times i never realy throught much of the storyline or the acting it was just the cool stuff in it like the big guns and cool ships, was hoping the second one would have a more indepth story line but that dosent seem to be the case.

The 1st one is amazing i think

Starship Troopers 2 isnt out on DVD until June 1st 2004 i think.
Dont even think it has Jonny Rico in it! What a pile of crap.

I adored the first one, its like the new age Aliens film ^_^

so i think ill miss this one..........i love the first one too much! it bas bad enough with the tremors sequels which kept coming and coming.......then a series! where they co exist with one FFS!

Seen the first movie thought that was pretty good, havent seen the second yet, but by the sounds of it, it dont seem to be as good , shame they
can never made the second film as good.

o ffs y they have to mess up good films like this, they should remake the second one with a big budget and some good characters in it (hopefully most from first one aswell).

im sure it would be a good seller in the cinema :cupwin:

First one wasn't that good, tried to do a robocop take on societys values in the future but even that was completely missed by 99% of the public who went "wow big bugs lets squash them like it said in a vidmercials" which I'm sure made the director chuckle a little...

First film was pretty damn **** to be hoenst.

i got this film for xmas on dvd and yeap i think it was bad also. it was hard to see anything because most of the time it was dark and the whole movie spent most of it time in a small outpost which was a 3 floor tower. the new bug look good going in and out of people's head but that the only bit i found good. i think the director filmed one of the star wars film and a few other good films so i think everyone was like "yay u will make this a gr8 film". well they where wrong it crap and it seem to be very short

I saw it on imdb and thought 'wow cool' then half a minute later realised it was with lame actors and an noobie director.

I still wanna see it, it's become a hobby at uni to watch appauling films.

the first 1 was great because it was funny... the acting & direction in that 1 was no better than this 1 imho but they tryed to be like alien & be all grown up which failed badly... if they had made this 1 as funny as the first 1 im not convinced we would be slating it like we are even with the same actors & director

Academy Award® winner Phil Tippett (1994, Best Visual Effects for Jurassic Park) directed it and he is supposedly one of the greatest visual effects wizards in movie history.....

and this was his directorial debut; I think he should stick to his special effects as he's worked in that area on many big(and good!) films :nosmile:
