WinFixer, WinAntiVirus, WinAntiVirusPro, ErrorSafe, SystemDoctor, WinAntiSpyware, AVsystemcare, WinAntiSpy, and DriveCleaner are all the exact same thing.

Should you get a popup on TF for any of these programs, please reply to this thread stating exactly which part of TF you were on when you got the popup and if possible include the actual URL for the page you were on.

All of the advertising networks that Total Format uses have been informed about this scareware having infiltrated one of them and they are all investigating the problem as we speak to try and get to the bottom of it and to stop these rogue adverts.

Please be aware, this is not a virus on TF, something that has been deliberately placed on TF by myself or anything like that and Tf is not the only site suffering the problem, several sites have reported similar incidents and we are all working closely to get rid of these things, please remember this is simply an advert that has slipped through the advertising networks filter systems and that you should NOT download the programs being offered.

As previous said regarding these adverts, I am sorry for any inconvenience these rogue adverts may be causing, but would like to assure you, I am working hard to kill the problem once and for all. But anyone who has had one of these popups will know already, they are difficult to trace due to the fact they kill the browser window, making it very difficult to track them to the source.

Just got a pop-up for error protector, which im guessing is another name that pop-up uses.

I was in the general discussion section at the time, about 2-3 mins ago.
