i have been uploading a few photos to the gallery. the photos are quite big filesize wise tho, would i be better off resizing them or does it not really matter?

No, your a full and active member of TF, it comes with the package.

If you hit the maximum file size limit, it will tell you you've done so, until such time, carry on doing what your doing.

The gallery does 3 sized images of each picture anyway and only shows the full sized version, if clicked on, otherwise it normally shows a medium sized version of the image.

was thinking more in terms of your bandwidth and costs involved for tf though. its not a problem to resize them to an image that fits an average sized screen - at the moment they are huge (camera is 5.0mp and saves in best quality)

so would it make a difference if i was to resize them to maybe 1/4 of their original size - other than being faster for me to upload

I pay one price, no matter how much bandwidth I use, so no, it would make no difference at all.

As said, continue doing it as you are... There's limits built in for how far I would let people go.

I clicked on your gallery, and it shows two file sizes, both reasonable (~150K and 300K), so I don't think you'll have annoying download times either. Cute kid.

Addendum: this is where a "Latest Pix" area on the front page would be cool.

I cannot find any option to delete pictures from my member's area of the gallery o.O I have two of the same pictures and want to delete one...
Only with my modish powers can I achieve this >.< (and even then it took a bit of hide and seek to find out how).
