Is that a TF popup?

I dont get ads anywhere fullstop, not even msn, i replaced my hosts file with one that essentially blocks every known advertising company domain, so no popups, no adverts anywhere, even the ad bar on msn gets blocked

Theres also a cool program called ad muncher thats supposed to block ads with near 100% success.

I got the exact same one when I logged on, I did wonder what it was since I didn't get it last time I logged onto TF (Yesterday

).

I don't really mind tbh,it's easy to close,and if it helps Det keep TF running then it's all good to me.

As far as I can tell, it's a Flash based pop-up. The advertiser is using the ad bar at the top of TF to load a flash script that's creating that pop-up. I have a flash blocker that's disabled for TF (so I can click on adverts to create a little revenue for dear ol' uncle Detty), but Det has a strict anti-pop-up thing for TF.
anyway, I'm just bringing to his attention so he can have a moan at whoever's in charge and get a little compensation

I use adblock plus as an addon to firefox, stops all known popups ...dead.

Lets hope the ad company check the froums they display on and find the staff promoting adblockers and other means to lessen their profit

well i personally don't want to see adverts all across my screen thats my choice,

and thats why i choose to use "don't mention the name of the addon just in case i upset someone"

is that better? anything else?

Cint - Nicely spotted. Not meant to be happening, a popup add managed to slip through the filter, that's all. Will be sorted as quick as i can.

Im sure people can set zones not to be blocked as cint does, or just donate cash should they feel theyre overdue on some ad clicking action.
