Tf timing out

Just a quick heads up to which ever red named person happens to be about.... most of the evening ive found TF sluggish at best, and timing out 90% of the time..... connection here is clear as a bell atm, and its only tf im having probs with, so figured id let you know incase its trying to fall over :S

What ISP you on? Harv mentioned something similar to me earlier.

I've not had any issues with TF myself.

It maybe something along the route tripping up?

Tracert is showing 11 hops for me with the slowst being 32ms and none timing out, how about you?

normally id be only too happy to blame them, but after a 2 hour convo with one of their senior techs, finally managed to get my connection polished and all sorted the other day, and its been running like a dream since.

Might be one of your adverts, not sure, and i did notice at one point that when i was waiting for a post to go through, an accidental right click on my mouse brought up a very weird selection of options but i wasnt fast enough to screenie it.

Was about 8 options in total, one of which was "Listener".

Have spyware scanned my system since that, naturally, but not pulled up anything.....

Its almost like a DNS issue, but ive flushed that too, and nothing..... posting a trace once i can get it to connect lol

Well if you could possibly keep monitoring from your end and i'll do the same from this end, you never know, we may unearth something weird.

I can't see it being the adverts though to be honest, these adverts are set ads from Tradedoubler and Afilliate Windows which I have 100% control over now, so there shouldn't be any issues with them, unlike Valueclick which did try to slip the odd dodgy ad through once in a while.

had one ad in IE that caused a time out, (it hung on waiting for the advert - something based in Germany), but switching over to mozilla got rid of that one.... not sure really matey, but yup, ill keep my eyes on it as best i can.
