Until you reach 10 posts you are a basic member, hence the yucky coloured username, which means editing profile and avatar and the likes is disabled (it's a security measure against spam advertisers and spam bots, which we get a lot of unfortunately). Once you've reached 10 posts and wait between 1 min and 1 hour, you will be automatically promoted to full member, when your username turns blue. Once you are a full member, you have full access to all areas of Total Format, can edit your profile properly and can do all kinds of things like profile picture, avatar, arcade and all that gubbins.
