Incase anyones confused, im referring to Det asking people to rate the 3 daily news threads from The Sun, BBC and Reuters.
Just posting as im wondering what were voting on really, like simply how much we like that specific article's content, how important we see it or that genre of news or something else? Im a bit worried that we'll end up exclusively with either trashy stuff or overly serious stuff, rather than a selection. ![]() To clarify, of todays i liked the Richard and Judy smoking weed news the most, because as far as celebrities go theyre quite amusing and because the BBC's story was more credit crunch doom and gloom, but i wouldnt like trashy sun news all the time. Tbh i dont see a problem with mixing it up, a bit of celeb/trash from sun, random uk news from bbc and serious shizzle from reuters. Informed and amused ftw ![]() |

The rating of the news bit for me, is mainly to give me an indicator as to which style of news people prefer, it won't be dictating that I only post news by the one that gets 5 stars for example, just that that was the news that most people liked best.
I'll be doing this a few times over the next couple of weeks to hopefully allow me to know better what to post. The news this morning was not specifically picked as a cliche by the way, I basically picked a time and simply picked the top story from each news outlet for that specific time to keep it as fair as possible. Thread moved to the feedback forum though, so I can keep easier track of it. |
