With the revamping of the site, the section for books has gone away, been burned if you like, this isn't fundamentalist christian USA, I'd like free speech for authors dammit.
Unless it's just because nobody ever reads any books apart from me, then there's no point in making a books section. It would be like the movie section with me just talking to myself.

Perhaps da kids don't read no more like yeah? It's like totally boring you know yeah?

In the event that a books section is deemed surplus, may I recommend the new James Bond book written by Sebastian Faulkes called Devil May Care which I have just finished and do declare to be a masterpiece of post-modern homage. Extraordinary and unquestionably the best Bond book ever penned, with all due respect to my *cough* great uncle Ian Fleming.

The book section is essentially still there, it is simply mixed together with some other sections, as a combined section made more sense to me:

Sport, Hobbies and Interests
If you are an avid follower of football or F1, like bird watching or keeping tropical fish, love reading books or writing, photography, cars or classic bikes, model airplanes or anything like that, then this is the section you need.

Combining those sections made sense due to them all essentially being hobbies, but as individual sections, none were getting enough posts to justify taking up space and making the forum longer. All the existing book posts and threads can be found in that section.
