List programs "top 50 bla bla bla"

I don't know why (and I'm sure a few will disagree) but I always find those list programs on the telly addictive to watch. I think they are a genius idea of making a really watchable program without having to create any of your own content. There's loads of them for all different kinds of stuff. If you where create one of these lists per week and have it as a feature on the front page I believe it would make for good reading and suck in a few passers by. Just start a topic such as the current "best comedian" one each week, get nominations from members then make a poll. Yoink the result and format it with a bit of html or whatever and you have good content with almost minimal effort. As time went by you could compile these lists into a whole seperate section.

I'm also a fan of these top 50 programs, they make quite good entertainment when you just want something light to look at.

Nice idea that, thanks. I have done the occasional one in the past, but that's normally been either a me list or a proper official list, not a community done one.

I am still waiting for people to mention their favourite films and games and stuff of 2007 at the moment, so I can get the 2007 awards bits out the way, so will do something like this once they are finished with. (admits these 2007 bits need to be a damn sight more organised than currently are to work properly)
