Few hundred quid for the board, £1200+ for two QX9770s, £lots for special (but crap) fully buffered RAM, then, if you want quad-SLI, the cheapest it'll be is £540 for 4 256MB 8800GTs. All that'd need a beefy power supply, 1.6kW recommended by Intel, but 1kW would probably do.
So basically about 3 grand or more just to be made obselete when octo-core CPUs come out and use slow FB-ram instead of DDR2/3.
This isn't a product for gamers, it's for 3d renderers and whatnot.
