Just played the demo on Xbox Live and this game is solid. I had doubts over the 360 controller properly expressing the style and pace of my DMC ability compared to the PS2 controller which I played the first four games on. (That's including the Special Edition of DMC3)
Anyway, the game seems alot faster thanks to the new generation of consoles and the combo system has really been given a whole new depth with the "Devil Bringer".
DMC fans will be in paradise as Capcom have stayed absolutley true to the people who stayed dedicated to the series and have taken the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach.

One liners and solid action are plentiful, DMC at its finest!
I saw the pre-order box's in game the other day, must admit it was hard to come out of the shop with out pre-ordering it lol. Im not allowed another game till I pick up gears of war for my bossy other half!

i just made a us and jp account yesterday, tbh it was REALLY easy so i dont see why you shouldn't tbh, just do it so you got easy access to all the demos straight away, dont buy anything from the other regions of course though. guide for jp account if you want to go do it anyway..
couldn't find the guide i used -.- but this one seems good enough anyway
good thing about the different psn accounts is you can start downloading a demo on one of the other region accounts, log out and go on your main one, and it will continue downloading the same demo even though your on your main account.
It is so stupid how they split us up like that and we always get games and stuff last grrr.
Anyway I just made a US account and I am downloading it now from PSN. I have already tryed the xbox version and I liked it but i'm thinking of getting it for my ps3 anyway.
Its not too bad, from the demo anyway, but im finding the gun in it totally USELESS and really missing duel wielding pistols! oh it just seems pointless to have a new hero, who looks almost identical to Dante and even has Dante's same cockiness and similar dialog! Should of stuck with the games icon tbh now a total gaming icon....

Nero obviously has some sort of tie to Dante that'll be revealed. Nero is awesome though, and the gun sounds awesome too!
Capcom wanted to give Dante a break as I am guessing there will be more DMC in the future, keep in mind that Dante is ageing a little as well but you still play as him in the full version of the game at certain points.
Dante is still playable, i thinks that games half and half or something but he is deffo playable.
I loved the fire effects on Mr fire dude, was too busy staring at them when the fight started and i was like "WTF a boss fight in a demo!!!! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa"

I like Nero, at least playing him that arm grab thing he has was great and kept the action going so i didnt have to run to the bad guys. Also was great at throwing the frosts off balance then they were getting ready to do an attack.
I like his sword i think its cooler then Dante's and his gun looks better, but i agree two seems cooler.
These two vids show whats in the demo. (but the player is crap )
Gametrailers said the script was bad cause it was packed with one liners.
Devil May Cry has always been about cheesy one liners, it makes Dante the icon that he is today.
