Right. As with CoD4, I wont go into all the boring review stuff, just give you my views on the game.
The story is awesome. I dont want to give ANYTHING away because its so cool.
The controls are spot on. Its literally like the controller is an extension of your brain. Everything you want Altair to do, he does.
The graphics are awesome. See: Attached pictures. On those pictures, especially the first one, not a word of a lie, there was not 1 loading screen or stutter or anything from looking at that city from the outside, to walking in the front gate, to running around whereever i wanted. Its just like crackdown was in terms of streaming the city constantly.
You can climb pretty much everything. Not just things with ledges. I mean pretty much everything. If it has somewhere you could put your hand, or where you could put a foot. You can climb it. From street level you can get to the rooftops anywhere, its not like theres 1 or 2 specific places. Your assassin is so agile its awesome.
Fighting is alot more enjoyable than I thought it would be. Its simple but has enough layers of depth to make it accessable and interesting at the same time.
I was skeptical. I thought this game had been hyped more than it should have been. I was wrong. Assassins Creed is hands down one of the best adventure games ive ever played. The city below feels like a living breathing city.
This is a must buy guys. Novemeber shall forever be known as the month that killed your wallet.

lol answered my own qustion.... play.com have it in for £40!! Think Ill waite for a bit, seen as the kids dont get their xbox till christmas day, see how much it is after christmas.

Pretty much agree with Merx on this one, Fucking amazing game. The combat can get abit easy with counter attack so i dont use it, Much prefer to bounce from target to target with my sword .
Also IGN are full of shit with the low framerate on the PS3, Mine hasnt been running anything but perfectly for 4 hours.

Theres a thread full of PS3 related complaints on the Official forum. It would seem either you're very lucky or maybe the US and UK have had different final builds.

could also be something to do with the 2.00 firmware, lots of slowdowns in games reported since it went live, 2.01 supposed to be coming very soon to remedy it.
