Wii Internet Up And Running.

The Wii internet browser works well with Tf. (made this thread with it) Pics coming soon. ^__^

And here are the pics (not done on the Wii) Sorry for poor quality but its hard taking pics of TV and even though its daylight out, it looks like i took then in a dark room

Main page with the simple options. Click on the www button takes you to standart wii message screen where you type in address. Press OK button and off you go.

OH LOOK IT TF!!!
Options at bottom of page from left to right: Back, refresh, favorites and then home (must go to home inorder to type new web address in)

Zoom in button work well. Scrolling is done by holding the B trigger down and moving the pointer in the direction you want to go.

Zoomed in look at console section, unreadable from my sitting position otherwise.

Go to create this topic.

Click on white writing section bring up the standard massage making screen (same as web address screen)

Click ok and there it is. (dont have to tell you it posted fine

)

Finally for TF i clicked on a pic on the Virtua Fighter thread and is came up in lovely full screen.

On to youtube.com test and its not good news

On to newgrounds.com and it is good news

(except for the blurry pic)

Click on a flash movie and it play fine, zoom in for a larger screen.

Lastly, all favorites are saves in a similar set up to the main menu channels.

hey just thought i would post from my wii, the only down side is slow typing but the predictive text is ok ^_^

What, you mean you can surf TF from a Wii?

Wedgy - You may want to put images in the TF Gallery to avoid having lots of little red X's.

ooooh

how do u get internet on the wii then? will i need to download a system update then or something? cos i didnt see the internet channel

cos i updated my wii and made it ready to play for xmas day, now its wrapped up ready for me to unwrap on the 25th

i wanna use my wii to post on TF! yay!

Go into the shopping channel and its in the Wii Software section

Also when you get it add your Wii Code to the thread ^^

Saw you in gamestation earlier, queued up with a copy of Zelda from the shelf and then got told it was Out of stock lol >.<, luckily found the last one in Argos.

Yup can view TF while on my wii - which is what im doing right now

Its just like browsing the web normally - will be even better if they bring out a keyboard......

Ive not tried it yet, but im wondering if you plug a keyboard into the USB slots on the back of the wii would it work? Im too lazy to unplug my keyboard so.
