Would a USA wiimote work on UK console??

Hi x x

its me again lol,, right would a wiimote bought in the states work on my UK version wii??
My mother in law lives in florida and has offered to get 2 for us a long with the sports pack with the bat and everything too

but i dont want her to pay out for it if it wont be compatible with my console

I see no reason why a Wiimote from the US shouldn't work with a Wii from the UK, they're probably all manufactured in Taiwan anyway...

Wii games are region locked however Wii hardware is not so yes a USA Wiimote will work fine in UK or Japan.

Wii motes are Bluetooth devices so I would yes they will work, because Bluetooth is a set standard.
