T in the Park books Calvin Harris, You Me At Six, Go: Audio, Priscilla Ahn, Metronomy and Jamie T for Balado
We've just picked up the news of some excellent additions to this year's T in the Park lineup.Borders lad and self-proclaimed 'creator of disco' Calvin Harris will be giving anyone who likes to dance the opportunity to do so with fresh material including his new single 'I'm Not Alone'. Calvin will deliver “massive riff, big hands-in-the-air moments” via his recent collaboration with Dizzee Rascal 'Dance Wiv Me', as well as classics such as 'Acceptable In The 80's' and 'The Girls'. Calvin plays the mighty Main Stage on Saturday 11th July – but don't forget he plays Glasgow's Oran Mor on 28th April – where you can get a sneak preview! Jamie T will play King Tut's Wah Wah Tent on Friday 10th July. Best known for his hit singles 'Sheila', 'Calm Down Dearest' and 'If You Got The Money', his latest playlist contender 'Fire Fire' (which won't be out as a single but is simply a thank you to his patient fans - check out his website) shows off his punk influences and illustrates the diversity of work that the NME Award winner produces. Finally T in the Park will welcome Surrey rockers You Me At Six, pop-punk outfit Go:Audio (headlining a sold out show at Glasgow's QMU next month), electronic trio Metronomy (who describe themselves as being from London via Brighton (by way of Devon)!) and the folk-musings of Priscilla Ahn (just off tour supporting Ray Lamontagne).Jamie T 'Fire Fire'
