Thinking about getting a bass...

Yep, that's right, I'm thinking about buying a bass to go with my other guitars.

Any of you bass players recommend a particular brand / model I should check out?

rickenbacker... i think thats how its spelt :S

lol gawd how id love to have one of those... the bass that the lead singer from Motorhead uses

Awesum bass guitars

... if you dont want to go for expensive one at first though, just get a cheap fender/wesfield or stagg...

Another good bass to buy not brilliant but yeah an Ibanez.

I've used an Ibanez before. The bassist in my band uses one. Was pretty cool despite being a left-hander.

I've seen a lot of them around too.

Ibanez is the way to go for cheap basses. They're brilliant for the price.
