Drummer Needed!!!

Well yeah what it says there...

Our drummer decided he would up and leave for no reason and now we are stuck seeing as we have a gig next month to play and we urgently need a drummer!!!

We are called Self elimination, we have 4 guitarist because apparently we need that amount.

Kitty = vocalist
Me = bassist
The dean = lead guitarist
Kira/pete = Rythm guitarists

If you can play drums and are not in a band and wanna be in one then please say so, if you dont and know people who play drums and wanna be in a band can you please tell me.

Why not re-apply one of your rhythm players on the drums? Hell, if they're playing rhythm they must have some sense of it (rhythm that is) so they could probably cope with drumming for one gig.

Failing that, you could always cancel.

NO WAY!!!!

Our rythm guitarists are ****e on drums, the only two people in our band who can play em are me and the singer and we are both allocated already :S

And we defo aint gunna cancel it...

All we need is to find a decent drummer for 2 nights and we are fine, if they wanna stay in the band then woo

Me thinks your probably about 1000% more likely to find a drummer by going down your local instrument or independent music store and popping an ad in their wanted and on offer section, which a lot of them have, or maybe even looking in NME magazine.

Bit difficult for users at other end of coutry or world even to suddenly be there to join a band. Although I have been known to be wrong...

Don't like the name of the band by the way, it's too long in my opinion, I reckon it'd be a lot better if you were just called "SeLF"...

why don't you drum & let one of the rythm gutarists play bass?

Actually i doubt any of them could play bass, they are very picky people, well Pete is one of them (my best mate) and well he wont play anything but rythm and attempt drums which he is poor at and even he admits it. The other rythm guitarist is just ... erm ... a beginner, so thats prolly why we have two rythm guitarists atm :S
