After much anticipation Alfie Kingston has released his debut album 'creatures and people's way'.
This unique LP blends rock, country, blues and pop in a diverse compilation of classic songs, from the laid back country-rock groove of 'sometimes, to the striaght-up pop sound of 'so don't disapear'; from the haunting and chromatic 'she's scary', to the simply beautiful melodies of 'the distance'.

While this sound may not appeal to all of TFs community, i'm sure it will definately catch the imagination of some, indeed it has for me.
To my knowledge, the main place to purchase his music at the moment is directly through the website

My personal view about this music:
The sound is fresh and different from a majority of what i'd consider awful mainstream chart music around at the moment. It has an almost 80's brat pack film music feel to it which is an instant hit with me. It's not quite full on rock and it's not full on country and thankfully it's certainly not mainstream pop, this is a very well blended combination of those styles. I have to say, Alfies voice is something you will either instantly crave for, or will dislike immensely due to the gentle haunting sound of it, I don't think there will be much of a "it's average" going on here. I rate Alfie highly and expect to see a lot of him in the future.... My overall opinion is that this is not a style of music that is likely to be appreciated by those into the Aphex Twins, Slip Knot or Rammstein, nor those that adore Kylie, but it will almost certainly suite those with a slightly more refined and mature ear.
And before anyone jumps in with their normal "it's crap" style posts, no matter what the music is, don't, stupid comments will be deleted.
