because i've already done guitars, bass and drums thought i'd do voice aswell, but for all types of music not just rock / metal / punk / whatever.
these are my favourites, it's impossible to choose a most talented singer because it's something natural and every1 has their own opinions.
General Rock
Robert Plant (Zeppelin) - so many people have tried to duplicate his voice and none have done so as well as him. with age he's become crap but cant forget how good he was in his youth.
Brett Scallions (Fuel) - very underrated, has great versatility and a unique voice.
Scott Anderson (Finger Eleven) - well theyre my favourite band, and his voice is very unique.
Chris Cornell (Soundgarden/Audioslave) - love this.
Anthony (RHCP) - they're legends, he's a legend.
Old Metal / Rock
Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy) - voice similar to many men in his time, but none had put it into rock music, therefore this is why I like him more.
Lemmy (Motorhead) - well it's not great, but it's damn cool and nobody else sounds anything like him.
Most other old heavy metal singers were nothing special, and all sounded the same, except perhaps the guy out of AC/DC, but his is just too irritating to like.
Modern Metal
Robb Flynn (Machine Head) - i just like it.
that's all, machine head are the only good metal band that are hard to categorise.
Thrash Metal
Brian Fair (Shadows Fall) - This guy knows how to roar.
Tom Araya (Slayer) - Good singing, good shouting, good thrash.
Death Metal
The guy from Nile - He's just really good.
The guy from Aker****e - huge range, great at all of them.
Chuck Schuldiner (Death) - Not extremely low and heavy voice which i think works well.
Lord Worm (Cryptopsy) - He's probably the best death metal vocalist ever (well my favourite).
Black Metal
Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom) - theyre the only black metal band i like, and he's the only black metal vocalist i like.
Metalcore / Hardcore
Jesse Leach (Killswitch Engage) - he's 4 and half million times better than Howard, and made kse a good band, they suck now.
Jacob Bannon (Converge) - my favourite metalcore vocalist.
Emo
The only 2 emo voices i can stand are Matt Davies (FFAF) and the guy from Thrice.
Punk
Davey Havok (AFI) - my favourite punk vocalist, really high but so cool.
Captain Sensible (The Damned) - just from sheer coolness.
yeah the guy from the damned rules, saw them afew years ago.
im only doing punk ones because ive gone off metal just of late.
Tim armstrong (rancid/transplants)
Lars Frederikson (rancid/lars and the *******s)
Billy Joe armstrong (green day)
Tom Delonge (blink)

And possibly teh best voice ever for rock or frankly any music chris cornell. Jon crosby's isn't far off and special mention to trent reznor too.
Anyone else hate the fact the media has invented gay little names like thrash and death and black for music these days.
Metalcore / Hardcore
Jesse Leach (Killswitch Engage) - he's 4 and half million times better than Howard, and made kse a good band, they suck now.
I LOVE YOU!!! Howard destroyed the quality name of KSE! i wouldnt say he made KSE a good band, but Howard just plain sucks....the new album is diabolical
Jesse Leach is 1 of the best Metal vocalists ever..
and ofcourse for Hardcore Vocalist you have to go with Grady Avenell
