Need a hand naming a movie

Yo dudes.

Trying to identify a horror(ish) movie but I don't know anything aside from some plot points and whatnot. Tried a google search, but didn't turn much up.

Anywho, all I've had to go on is that it's a film where a group of people summon up spirits in a house (poss. basement) and end up getting killed off one by one by the spirits. The only other major thing that's been mentioned is that apparently there's a lot of emphasis on viewing events through video camera(s) footage which the people set up.

I know it's a tad vague, lol, but if anyone has a slight idea what I'm going on about it'd be much appreciated if you could point me in the general direction.

(I had originally thought that Stir of Echoes was being described, but it wasn't. The film might have had Kevin Bacon in, though.)

the only one i can think of that had kevin bacon in it was flatliners which kinda had spirits in it and was recorded on videos when they bid for which one of them would be left dead for the longest and had to make peace with the people they caused pain to in their lives.
