Dexter Season 3

It would appear Season 3 has started in the US, or at least the first 2 episodes have been aired and are typically floating round the usual places online.

Havent watched it yet, fingers crossed...

I've seen them, Jimmy Smits is in it now (the guy from NYPD Blue and West Wing) as the DA or something like that whose brother gets murdered and they all have to solve it. But Dexter actually did it which leads to all sorts of Dexter like conundrums.
He has got that blondie pregnant as well and that seems like an annoying side-plot which keeps interrupting the good bits.

It's still a good programme though. There seems to be more swearing in it now, there's even a couple of c***s in episode 2.

The show needs a major twist to it. Season 1 rocked, season 2 was alright and jaime murray's character made it quite interesting. Season 3 badly needs a change though, but it seems to be struggling like House in the fact that its very stuck to 1 location and 1 type of storyline.

Dexters always in the shit, thats really not enough anymore, nor is exploring who he is, we know enough for that now. It really needs to switch things up a bit.

After watching the new episode of heroes, Dexter just seems utterly pale and i havent watched ep2 yet.

It's not fair on other people otherwise and thus if you start throwing stuff into threads that could spoil the shows for those waiting for them to air in the UK, then i'll have to delete the posts, because some of those shows I want to watch and I do not want stuff spoiling for me either.

Will do, but i didnt think id posted any spoiler material myself, except a very vague overview of my opinion how i like/dislike the first few series.



Edit: I also posted this as a new thread, rather than appending it to Graels old Dexter thread, so people would know it was Season 3 discussion. I try to be careful with spoilers as i hate them myself

I'm not sure if you have posted spoilers or not, it's a series I'm really looking forward to catching up on when it shows over here, so i'm generally not reading the posts, I am having to rely on others to do the reading for me, so for the most part this is just me giving a reminder, so that I don't get any nasty surprises.

The thread title clearly says Season 3 so I didn't think it mattered if we talked about it, but I can use that expand caption thing if you want.

Someone could come to thread, expecting to find out when the new series is due to start in this country, as TF is a UK based and targeted site, because it hasn't started here yet as you know and if they come and start finding out stuff that will happen without wanting to, it's unfair for them. So yeah, for this and any other series you may possibly be dropping occasional spoilers for, which everyone else isn't on the same page with, hide tags are really needed.

was a tad disappointed with the 1st eps , but i'm sure it'll pick up , one of my fave series ever so i'd hate to see it slide , as for the swearing , I think his sister has just refound her profanity ;=)
