The Machine Girl

I really dont know where to start when trying to describe this movie. Its the typical japanese kung fu movie revenge plotline, following a girl trying to avenge her brothers death. The twist being that rather like the classic "one armed boxer" and "one armed swordsman" she only has her right arm and has a machine gun (minigun) attached to her left arm stump. The special effects are awful and every few minutes youre subject to ludicrous amounts of blood spraying from peoples missing limbs and wounds. The movie is very comic book, with people deflecting bullets with swords/chainsaws and the stereotypical japanese school girl running around in her uniform killing everyone.

The quality of the movie itself is good, the acting and translated dialogue is simple but fine, the plot is obvious but its all incredibly entertaining. I dont want to give out too many examples of rediclous deaths or weapons, but it suffices to say that its probably the most outrageous japanese movie and definitely worth watching.

reminds me of that necromancer film , where this guy has to chop his hand off for some obvious at the time reason, and then >arms< himself by atatching a chainsaw to the end of the stub.

I may have been looking at things tagged axxo on the interwebs and it is awful, with virtually no budget, terrible special effects and comical dubbing, but its action packed and stupid enough that it takes things to about the max extreme they could.

Im also going to watch Sukeban Boy, a movie about a boy who looks like a girl (played by a girl) who dresses up as a girl and ends up fighting in more rediculous scenarios...

Sukeban has a problem. The foulmouthed, hard-fighting son of a biker, the teenaged boy has been cursed with the looks of a pop princess. The looks lead to teasing, the teasing leads to fighting, the fighting leads to expulsions - expulsions from every boys' high school in the region. What's a biker who's nurturing conflicted feelings for his gender-confused child to do in such a situation? Simple! Dress the boy up as a girl and enroll him in an all-girls high school. But girls' schools are strange, disturbing places and, within a day of arriving, Sukeban has been signed up for humiliation classes and forced to do battle with the various school gangs: the Pantyhose League, the No-Bra League, and - of course - the Full Strip League
